Small things that save time every day, in the chat box and in Settings.
New / commands
Type / in the chat box to see them all.
/contextshows what is filling the chat's memory, in tokens by category, with a Compact now button. Clicking the ring beside the chat box opens the same panel./modelopens the model picker./model opusor/model GPT-6switches straight away when only one model matches./resumeopens the chat list so you can jump back into any chat./clear(or/new) starts a new chat. The old one stays in your list./usageopens your usage and credits./agentsopens the Agents panel, and/mcpopens your MCP servers.
Reuse an earlier prompt
Press ↑ in the chat box to bring back what you sent before, and ↓ to go forward again. This chat's prompts come first, then the rest of the project's. What you were typing is kept, so ↓ past the newest gives it back.
Settings, page by page
Settings now has a sidebar with one page at a time, like General, Editor, Library, Privacy, Models, Agent and Memory, and a search box that looks through every page at once. Options nobody needed are gone.
Your instructions, in every project
Settings → Customize → Instructions now lists AGENTS.md · Global · all projects first. Write how you like to work once ("use British English", "cite in APA 7"), and every chat in every project gets it, before the project's own instructions.
Bring your MCP servers
If you set up MCP servers in Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Cursor, type /mcp, choose Import… → Import from other apps, tick the ones you want and import them. Each one starts, and a server that needs a sign-in asks for it.
Updates that stay out of the way
When an update has downloaded, the Help menu says Restart to Update. If you'd rather not restart now, it installs when you quit, without reopening the app. You can also update from the sign-in screen.
