A new chat that helps you start

An empty chat now puts the chat box in the middle, with the project just above it and a row of starting points below: Plan new idea and a few common tasks, with More for the rest. Pick one and it fills in a prompt with blanks for you to complete. Nothing is sent until you press Enter. A few Learn Multilo steps sit underneath while you're getting started.

The built-in browser, grown up

  • Type anything in the address bar. An address goes there; anything else is searched. Choose Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo or Yahoo in the browser's ⋮ menu.
  • History, favorites and suggestions appear as you type. Add to Favorites keeps a page; history is in the ⋮ menu too.
  • Find in page (Ctrl/⌘+F), zoom, a right-click menu, and developer tools.
  • Sign-in popups work, so "Sign in with Google" and similar buttons open and close as they should.
  • Site permissions: a site that wants your camera, microphone or location asks first, and ⋮ → Site Permissions shows what each site may use. A site with a broken certificate shows a clear warning.
  • Add to Chat sends the agent a page element, the console, or a screenshot of the page or part of it.
  • Clear browsing data is in the ⋮ menu.

Links from the chat

Links in chat answers now open any web page. The first time, Multilo asks whether to open them in the built-in browser or your default browser, and remembers. Change it later with Open links in built-in browser in the browser's ⋮ menu. Right-click a link to copy it.

Several folders, one workspace

Add a second folder to your project and the two now form one workspace, as in VS Code, instead of looking like two open projects. Save it with Save Workspace As… to open the same set again, and search your libraries across every folder at once.

Also in this update

  • Opening a chat from another project switches to that project, so its files are there.
  • Chats are never archived just because you have many. Older ones rest on disk and stay in your list.
  • Rewind covers every file the agent changes, including images and other non-text files.
