Community guidelines
This forum is where people who research and write with Multilo help each other, and where the Multilo team listens. A few simple rules keep it useful for everyone.
Be kind, be specific
- Treat everyone with respect, whatever their level. No insults, harassment, or hateful content.
- Give a clear title and enough detail for someone to help. A good title says what you need, not just “Help!”.
- Search before you post. If someone has already asked, add to their topic instead of starting a new one.
- One topic per question, bug or idea.
Keep private things private
- Everything you post is public and can show up in search engines.
- Never post passwords, API keys, payment details, or anyone's personal information. For anything about your account or billing, contact support instead.
- Posts show your account name, never your email address. If your account has no name, you appear as “Member” with a short code.
Honest work
- Ask for help with how to research, cite and write, not for someone to do graded work for you. Don't post exam or assignment answers.
- Only share text, images and files you have the right to share.
No spam
- No advertising, link farms or repeated posts. Members can include up to 8 links in one post.
- Sharing something you made with Multilo is welcome in Show & tell. Selling things is not.
Bug reports and help
- Bug reports start with a short template. Fill it in: what happened, the steps to reproduce it, what you expected, and your Multilo version and operating system.
- When a reply solves your question, mark it as the Solution. It helps the next person with the same problem.
Ideas and votes
- Vote for the feature requests you want most. Voting again takes your vote back.
- The team gives ideas a status: Under review, Planned, In progress, Shipped or Not planned. A shipped idea links to the changelog entry where you can read about it.
- Votes help us decide, but they are not a promise that something will be built.
The Multilo team
Replies marked Multilo team come from people who work on Multilo. Only the team can start topics in Announcements (everyone can reply) or change an idea's status.
Reports and moderation
- If you see a post that breaks these rules, use Report on it. Please don't reply to it.
- When three different members report a post, it is hidden until a moderator looks at it.
- Moderators can hide posts or whole topics, close a topic to new replies, and pin important topics.
