Three new agents joined the Agents library. Each runs on the document you have open, in a single pass, and follows the same rule: change the words, keep the scholarship.
Translate
Translate a manuscript, paper or set of notes into Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Arabic, Urdu or Hindi. It works on Markdown documents, PDFs, Word files, data files and slide decks.
The agent is told to preserve the things machine translation usually breaks:
- technical terminology, and the meaning behind it
- citations and references
- equations, numbers, units and symbols
- tables and the document's structure
It translates. It doesn't summarise, explain or quietly drop anything along the way.
Change Tone
Rewrite a passage as Professional, Conversational, Polite, Persuasive or Creative without changing what it says. It's useful when the same findings need to become a cover letter, a lay summary, a reply to reviewers or a grant pitch. Facts, structure, citations and your intent stay where they are, and no new ideas get added.
Trim
Cut a document by 10%, 20%, 25%, 30% or 35%. Trim removes repetition, redundant explanations, filler sentences and wordy phrasing, but it keeps the evidence. Conclusions, citations and the document's structure are left alone, and it keeps your voice rather than flattening it.
It's the agent for the abstract that's 40 words over, or the chapter your supervisor asked you to tighten by a quarter.
How to use them
- Open the document you want to work on.
- Open Agents and pick Translate, Change Tone or Trim.
- Choose the language, tone or percentage, and run it.
The agents arrive through Multilo's live agent catalog, so there's nothing to install. They're already in your Agents list.
