In the rich editor, the + on the small toolbar beside your cursor is now Add with AI. Describe what should go there, such as a sentence linking these two paragraphs, a limitations paragraph or a definition of ecological validity. Multilo writes it at that exact spot, not in a chat thread you'd then have to copy from.
A draft, not an edit
The passage appears in a box at your cursor first. Your document is untouched until you decide what to do with it:
- Insert puts it in, exactly where you clicked.
- Try again writes a fresh version.
- Discard throws it away.
Not quite right? Type a refinement, like make it shorter or add a citation, and the draft is rewritten in place, still waiting for your OK.
Lands where you clicked
Earlier versions could drop new text at the top of the document. The draft now goes exactly where your cursor was.
How to use it
- Open a document in Rich view and click where the new text should go.
- Press + (Add with AI) on the toolbar that appears by your cursor.
- Describe what to write, review the draft, and press Insert.
Why it matters
Most writing help happens beside the document: you ask in a chat, copy the answer, find your place again and paste. Add with AI keeps you in the sentence you were writing, and keeps you in charge of what actually goes into your paper.
